About SOLO

SOLO Special Operations & Logistic Organisation was founded in 2007 by a former 22 SAS Soldier. SOLO's founder has served with The 2nd Battalion of the Parachute, The Elite Pathfinder Platoon and finally with the SAS, where he finished his time with Air Troop, A SQN, and 22 SAS. SOLO is based in Hereford, home of UK Special Forces.

His experiences in hostile environments in countries like Croatia, Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Iraq & a few others that cannot be named gave him a unique understanding of what really was required & believed that United Kingdom Close-Protection product design, development & manufacture, with the right approach, could be advanced to a new level.

After he finished his career at the SAS he set about developing the core SOLO product range, from initial concept-design through to finished, working prototypes. Once they had been rigorously tested and evaluated, he set about manufacturing the production-models according to the custom needs of individual clients.
