The Nitrogen filled rubber armoured body should withstand everything but the harshest drops; fog-free and waterproof for cold, wet conditions with fully multi-coated optics for superb light transmission.
The centre focus wheel provides a very useable fine focus control that is easy to use, even whilst wearing gloves. Dioptre adjustment is via a control at the right eyepiece and the Mistral feature a click adjustment twist up eyecups for use with or without glasses.
